There is something about frozen drinks in a fancy glass in the summer. It just tastes like summer in a glass. And when it’s made with fresh fruit, it just has such a refreshing taste.
I have always equated fancy frozen drinks with vacation. Growing up, the time we were able to order fun drinks off the kids virgin menu was on vacation. And it was so much fun to be sipping that delicious frozen drink with a large fruit garnish. Felt like getting to have a slushie with dinner!
Now I can honestly say I was not really sure about a frozen watermelon daiquiri. Why, well because I feel like watermelon doesn’t have a ton of taste really. Just a bit of sweetness with well, water of course. But, we tend to buy watermelons with good intentions and then only end up eating half of it before it goes bad. Vowing for that not to happen this time, I froze enough for some daquiris and decided to give them a try. And man! They are so good! So refreshing and so fresh tasting!
Stop letting that fresh watermelon go to waste and whip up some delicious frozen watermelon daiquiris for a delicious and refreshing hit of summer in a glass!
