The Incredibles made their first big screen appearance back in 2004. But even almost 20 years later and it’s still a fan favorite. It pretty much has a little bit of everything. A family of super heroes. Reminiscing on the good old days. Celebrating our differences and even a bit of a coming of age vibe. I mean, really what’s not to love about this one?

And of course as with any reemerging super hero movie, animated or not, comes a beautifully redesigned super suit to symbolize the next chapter.

These Incredibles inspired Mocktails highlight the new red super suits with a touch of black for the eye makes and a hit of golden yellow accents. Whether you are watching Incredibles I or Incredibles II which, lets face it, are both incredible, these Incredibles inspired non alcoholic drinks are sure to make your Disney family movie night SUPER!

Ingredients (for 3 drinks)

6oz Cranberry Juice

4oz Pineapple Juice

1/2oz Simple Syrup

1/2 oz Grenadine

5oz Lemon Lime Soda

Gold Sanding Sugar (I used this for this mocktail from Amazon)

Marishino Cherries

Black cocktail garnish sticks (optional; I bought these to stir drinks and they worked perfectly)

Black Striped Straw (optional but really helps add the touch of black to the Incredibles theme like the super hero family’s masks. I used these)

Vanilla Frosting (optional for the rim)

Low Ball Glasses (I used these plastic ones which are perfect for the kids without the worry of glass breaking!)

About the Ingredients

Cranberry Juice is pretty straight forward and is made from the juice of cranberries with water and sugar.

Pineapple Juice adds a hint of tropical flavors and helps to brighten the red color of the cranberry juice

Simple syrup is simply a mixture of equal parts water and sugar boiled until fully dissolved and slightly thickened. It is a staple ingredient in most bars as its frequently used to sweeten drinks without having issues of sugar dissolving fully in a cold drink

Grenadine is one of the heaviest drink mix-ins and its bright red color and cherry taste are exactly what this zero proof drink needs to be Incredible

Lemon Lime Soda provides carbonation and a delicious touch of citrus

How to Make

1.Take the rim of your lowball glasses carefully through the vanilla frosting to get a consistent thin coating around the rim

2.Dip the rim in the Gold Sanding Sugar. Add ice and set aside.

3.Place three cherries on a cocktail Cocktail Garnish Stick. Repeat for the number of mocktails you are making. Set aside.

4.In pourable container, add 6oz Cranberry Juice, 4oz Pineapple Juice, 1/2oz Simple Syrup, and 1/2oz Grenadine. Stir until well mixed.

5 Pour mixture into rimmed low ball glasses.

6. Add Lemon Lime Soda to taste

7. Place Cocktail Garnish Stick with Cherries on top

8.Add black stiped straw

Garnish Tips

Merchino Cherries can be sticky and a little messy. Especially when you pierce them through the cocktail garnish stick. Doing this task over the sink or cutting board helps make the clean up a little easier! Having some wet paper towels ready to go is also a pretty good idea as the cherry juice can get a bit sticky!

Enjoy!
