It can’t come as a surprise that Mickey Mouse is a big name in our house. As the mascot and face of one of my family’s biggest band of beloved characters, Mickey is a common name. The iconic silhouette of Mickey and Minnie’s ears makes an appearance in more than one room in our house. And as a nostalgic 90s kid, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I feel like I grew up with Mickey and Minnie and the family of characters that are a part of the house of mouse. And now, I get to revisit my old friend through the eyes of my own kids. Now that is magical!

When I’m feeling a little discouraged in life, some of my favorite words come from the creator of Mickey, Walt Disney himself. So many of my favorite quotes from him always inspire me to keep trying and keep going. But these three in particular stand out as my favorites.

Its kinda fun to do the impossible.

Walt Disney

If you can Dream it, you can Do it

and this quote which makes a Mickey Mouse Inspired milkshake such a must do for me

It all started with a mouse.

Mickey and Minnie Inspired Milkshakes Recipe (2 Drinks)

This is really pretty simple (my kind of recipe!). This is basically a classic cookies and cream milkshake recipe with some fun decorations to turn a classic milkshake into an iconic one!

1)Add 1.5 scoops of Cookies and Cream Ice Cream and 1/2 cup of 2% Milk to blender (Or Ninja Creami which is what I used)

2)Blend until well mixed and smooth texture

3)Add to Milkshake Glasses

4)Add Reddi Whip to the top of each glass.

5) Carefully place 2 Oreo Cookies next to each other in the shape of mouse ears sticking out of the reddi whip.

6)Add Pink Striped Straw for Minnie and Red Striped Straw for Mickey behind the cookies.

Enjoy!
