Paw Patrol’s Skye Inspired Mocktail; Let’s take to the sky!
I have already mentioned how our house is typically a movie house and not a show house. But the adorable pups from Paw Patrol seem to make their way on to our television from time to time. So when the Paw Patrol Movie came out, it was quite obvious that Paw Patrol Mocktails were a must. This particular mocktail is for all my Skye fans out there who like to take to the sky! I have already talked about the values and lessons that the Paw Patrol show brings. And the movie is no different! While Chase is working through some personal challenges (something I think we can all relate to in life) his friends are there to help out when he needs it. Skye is there to help Chase when he freezes on the roof top and makes sure he gets back down to the ground safely. Good friends are there believing in you when you are having a hard time believing in yourself.
In general Skye is a pretty cool character! As the first female member of the Paw Patrol, she uses her smarts and skills in aviation as the resident helicopter pilot on the team to help assist from the sky when there is danger. And does so pretty quickly at that! Despite being one of the smallest pups in the patrol the rest of the crew can always count on Skye when they need that adorable cockapoo to help out.

Ingredients for One Mocktail
Pink Strawberry Lemonade Powerade
Lemon Lime Soda
Grapefruit Wheel (for garnish)
Brown Sugar
Yellow Striped Straw
Frosting (optional for the rim)
About the Ingredients
Pink Strawberry Lemonade Powerade is a sports drink with electrolytes to replace them following a workout. This particular flavor has a pink color to it making it perfect for our little pup with a pink uniform.
Lemon Lime Soda provides carbonation and a touch of citrus with its clear coloring that doesnt take away from the pink color for our Skye themed mocktail
How to Make
Take the rim of your low ball glass and run it through the frosting to get a thin but consistent layer around the rim. Dip in Brown Sugar, again getting a thin yet consistent coating. Tap on the glass a few times to remove any extra, unstuck sugar from the rim. Add Ice.
In rimmed low ball glass, pour Pink Strawberry Lemonade until 3/4 full.
Top with Lemon Lime Soda.
Add Grapefruit Wheel garnish to the rim of the glass
Add Yellow Striped Straw.
Garnish Tips
Carefully cut the ends of the whole Grapefruit. Then carefully slice a wheel about a quarter inch thick. Place a small slit in the grapefruit wheel to allow it to sit on the rim of the glass.
