Peanut butter cheesecake cocktail, the taste of dessert, the feel of a cocktail in one glass!
Cheesecake holds a special place in my heart. There is something about the cool taste and texture of the smooth cheesecake with the crumble of the crust. Add in a touch of peanut butter and well, you can be sure to find me going back for a second slice of that goodness.
Now, while I do love a good cheesecake, in this phase of life, I am very rarely up for actually making one. I’m not sure how many of you have actually made a cheese cake from scratch before but let me tell you, they are delicious! But that delicious goodness does take some time and effort to make. Plus, cheesecake certainly requires a bit of a special touch to create that smooth texture and combination of tastes. I used to help my mom make cheesecake from scratch as a kid for the holidays. And while I hope to get to a phase of life where I have time to bake again like that, that is just not where I am today. But that’s okay because this peanutbutter cheesecake cocktail though is quick to make and has that boozy addition.

About the Ingredients:
Irish Cream is created using a blend of irish whisky and dairy cream to create a chocolate with vanilla taste. And vanilla is one of those ingredients if you are going to be making a cheesecake.
Vanilla Vodka is just what it sounds like, vodka that has been infused with vanilla beans. A little extra vanilla taste for our cheesecake concoction
Half and Half is simply a mixture of equal parts whole milk and cream; hence why it is called half and half!
Peanutbutter Whisky is whisky made with peanuts and cane sugar. And if you’re thinking to yourself “peanutbutter whisky? I don’t think so!” well just try it before you knock it! this is the perfect alcohol for our peanutbutter cheesecake cocktail!
How to Make:
1.Blend or smash graham crackers. (I feel blending in a blender yields the best consistency here for a rim. It also creates a more uniform consistency and mimics a cheese cake crust better. But if you prefer to smash, add your graham crackers to a sealable bag, place between some dish towels and carefully smash with the flat side of a meat tendorizer)
2.Place honey on a spoon and slowly drag the rim of a low ball glass through the honey for an even coat along the rim. Dip into the graham cracker crumbs ensuring to get a consistent coat around the entire rim.
3.Add ice to glass to low ball glass
4.Place ice in cocktail shaker and add irish cream, vanilla vodka, half and half and peanutbutter whisky into a cocktail shaker.
5.Shake virgerously until well mixed and chilled
6.Pour into low ball glass over ice
Dessert drinks and after dinner drinks just seem to hit differently. For me, drinking them is more about the smooth taste and something to sip slowly and last awhile to fully enjoy them.
