Spiderman Inspired Mocktail; because with great powers comes great responsibilities
Alright so if you have been following along, I’m sure you remember that Spiderman is a favorite in our house. And he has been a favorite even before the tiny humans arrived and there were any big screen notions about the amazing Spiderverse.
Since Peter Parker is the first Spiderman I came to know and love, he is the first thing I think about when I hear Spiderman or Spidey. To me, Spiderman will always be red and blue Peter Parker. His relatability as a teenager just trying to get by is why he is so well known and loved and that’s not different in our house. Because well, life is hard. Spidey is my youngest’s favorite Spiderman as well so making a Spiderman inspired non alcoholic drink was a must.

The spiderverse is amazing and opens up so many possibilities for our favorite Marvel characters and the Marvel Universe as a whole. That being said, there is something special and maybe even a little comforting about the original too. I love that the Spiderverse allows for the original to be alongside the new generation. Even if it’s in a different format then I am used to seeing. Maybe it’s just me getting old but nostalgia always plays at my emotions!

Ingredients and Barware for 1 Mocktail
Blue Curaco
Squeeze Lemonade Flavor Vitamin Water
Red Sanding Sugar
Lemon Wedge (optional for rim)
Black striped straw
Low Ball Glass
About the Ingredients
Blue Curaco derives its orangy taste from the dried leaves of the citrus fruit that is grown on the Island of Curaco. Despite its orange flavor, the liquor has a vibrant blue color, exactly like you think of when you think of Spidey!
Squeezed Lemonade Flavor Vitamin Water is a water that has been infused with vitamins and minerals and sweetened to provide a light lemonade flavor. The clear coloring of this drink mixed well with our Blue Cruaco to provide the perfect shade for a zero proof Spidey inspired drink.
How to Make
1.Rim the low ball glass with Red Sanding Sugar. Add Ice and set aside (If you have a Lemon Wedge, rub the fleshy part of the lemon around the rim of the glass before dipping into your sanding sugar to help the sugar adhear to the glass better)
2.Add 1.5oz Blue Curaco to rimmed glass
3.Fill the rest of the way with Squeezed Lemonade Flavor Vitamin Water.
4.Use a swizzle stick or spoon to gently stir the ingredients together
5.Add Black Striped Straw to round out the Spiderman colors.
